Ceano Cosmetics wins the 3rd place in the competition “Best packaging in Latvia 2020”
On January 14, without the traditional and usual face-to-face celebration of the contestants, the national competition “Best packaging in Latvia 2020” ended. The 3rd place in the category “Commercial packaging for non-food products” was awarded to the Ceano cosmetics design of Cannabis line and Solid line cosmetics packaging. In total in the competition participated 19 contestants with 41 packages and series of packages.
The competition takes place in several stages, in which the works are assessed by both consumers and industry professionals. In autumn, the visitors of the international exhibitions “Riga Food” and “Design Isle” voted for the submitted works, but in October - Internet users, a panel of experts, supporters of the competition. Expert’s assessment of the works was determined by the criteria specified in the Regulations: construction, shape, design, functionality, overall impression, implementation, etc. 2020.

Traditionally, the national competition for the best packaging has been held since 1996. It is announced annually in August, and packaging customers, designers, packaging manufacturers, packers and distributors can submit their works. The competition works are assessed by both consumers and a panel of professional packaging experts. According to the decisions of the competition panel of experts, Grand Prix recipient can receive a certificate for participation in the Latvian international competition WorldStar For Packaging Excellence, organized by the World Packaging Organization.
