Why Handmade Natural Soaps with Aromatherapy Oils Are Better than Others?
Luxury handmade soaps rather suit well to those with oily skin, and cares for the sensitivity to prevent from reappearing of the acne or casual blemishes. In hopes to cure facial skin those tackling with drying aging skin or a treatable medical condition found their interests in cold process soap making. Cold process is the term referred to handmade soap making.

But why pay more for natural soaps when commercially available soaps cost sometimes half the price?
Of course they do because they are mass produced with chemical detergents to be their sole ingredients. All handmade soaps on the contrary are made with ‘lye’ formulated on 3 week aging process in general. It only works if you put good amount of hardening fats in the recipe. If you don’t then it will take longer time to age. Even though formulated beauty bars are mislabeled in stores that are supposed to moisturize your skin; but far from truth they include liquid detergents like ‘sodium laurelate’, ‘sodium palmitate’, or ‘decyl’ that leaves itchy scalp, dryness, and chapped skin after use.
Unlike handmade natural soaps, detergent bars usually lists essential oils that are either synthetic or fractionated oils instead of including natural fatty acids or oils. These soaps lack in organic elements such as glycerin, jojoba/almond oils, which have nutritive skin care qualities to bring about natural youth in you. Glycerin helps prevent drying effect on your skin whereas pressed soap bars have synthetic glycerin included to attain translucency, but not moisturizing. Alcohols, esters, lard or (tallow) animal fat are widely used in commercial soap formulas to get rich lather, which is responsible for clogging skin pores as complained by several soap users.
All handmade natural soaps should be made with vegetable or plant-based oils as an alternative to lard or tallow fat when hardening a bar soap as similar to Latvian natural soaps that speak for its caring sensitivity. Expertly handmade natural soaps should include protective nutrients like shea butter, coconut and lavender, goat milk & honey, tea leaves, lemongrass and other exotic vitamins for glowing skin to give a deep cleansing treatment.
If you care for your skin, avoid buying soap with preservative detergents. Read more about Latvian handmade natural soaps here.
